About Aotearoa Infinite Academy

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, pioneering accessible, world-class education for students in Years 9-13 across all of Aotearoa. We combine international (Pearson Edexcel pre-IGCSE and IGCSE) and national (NCEA Levels 2 and 3) curricula with a flexible, virtual learning model that prioritises wellbeing, belonging, and personalised support.

The Opportunity

In this 20 hour a week role, you will provide essential operations and administrative support for our innovative online school, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations from enrollment through to compliance. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand as part of a dedicated, forward-thinking team.

What You'll Do

• Manage student enrollment processes and maintain accurate records

• Monitor and manage accurate attendance record keeping

• Provide administrative support to Principal, Deputy Principal, Principals Nominee and teaching staff

• Act as first point of contact for families, students, and stakeholders

• Coordinate school events, meetings, and roadshows

• Support compliance, reporting, and school operations

• Maintain school systems, databases, and communication platforms

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• 2-3 years experience in an administrative or operations role

• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

• Comfortable learning and using new technology platforms

• Positive, solutions focused above the line way of working

Desirable:

• Experience in education sector or school administration

• Familiarity with student management systems

• Knowledge of MOE requirements and compliance

• Event coordination experience
